Hi, I 'm Nancy the main trainer and owner for Happy Waggin'Tailz. I am a Certified Graduate of the Animal Behavior College for professional dog trainers. I am Canine CPR and First Aid certified as well as being certified for Shelter Dog Training. I am a member of the APDT- Association of Pet Dog Trainers, I am a Mentor for Animal Behavior College and  I have recently taken a canine pack management class. I am continually reading or taking seminars to improve my training in order to better benefit my clients.

 

When I was young like most kids I wanted a dog. When I got one it was Wow, this is really cool. She needs me and loves me no matter what. I tried to teach my dog as many tricks as I could without hurting her. It was fun for me and I noticed she was having fun. She kept working for Rewards! After all these years God finally got through to me that I needed to share this knowledge with other owners and their families to help their dogs. After attending the Animal Behavior College. I began a new adventure. Now I want to help owner's and their pets learn to bond with each other through Positive Reinforcement training. I wanted to show the owners how their dogs think when you are training and how they want to please you. It is so important for owners to understand they do not have to yell or hit a dog to have that animal respond to commands. How the positive reinforcement really works and you end up with a great animal without all the problems of fear or aggression. You end up with a great companion for many years.
